Sara Swirl Hat with a bow

 

I made this swirl hat for Sara for the holidays and it goes with her entrelac scarf pretty well!

 

The swirl hat is a pattern that I recreated from memory. I knit it on size 8 needles using Caron Simply Soft Party in Silver Sparkle color H97PAR for the main color and Caron Simply Soft in Watermelon color 9604 for the pink stripe.

 

 

The bow is an easy, free Crochet Bow pattern that I made using a G hook and Caron Simply Soft Party in Teal Sparkle color.

Autumn Entrelac

 

Beautiful autumn colored entrelac gift for my friend. 

 

My entrelac scarves are a personal variation based on this free Ravelry Entrelac Scarf pattern by Allison LoCicero.

I knit it on size 8 needles with Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn in Polo color.

Yesie picked a pink and white Owl Hat made with a progressive pink and white dc remnant and glitter yarn accents. The pattern is based on this owl hat pattern. 

Paola originally picked a cotton, rainbow hat with earflaps, but then changed her mind (many times) to a strawberry hat. 

Mia picked a sparkly berry cat hat with silver ears.

CO 80

Join in the round

2x2 rib stitch for about 2"

k2tog, k8, p1, (k9, p1) around until hat measures 5.5 to 6" long

begin each section with k2tog for decreases for 1 row
k1, p1 in pattern for 1 row
repeat around til 10 sts, finish

size 8 needles, worsted weight yarn

Entrelac Scarf for Sara

Happy Holidays, Lady! Here's some color chunks for ya!

I used Lionbrand Landscapes worsted weight yarn in Apple Orchard on size 10 needles. I vary the width of the scarf with the number of horizontal blocks. This time I CO 16.
